One day, there was a rat named Rickety who saw a ship parked in the dock. He felt curious. So, he shouted to the other rats: “Guys, look at that huge thing over there! Let’s go jump in it!”
So all the rats (including Rickety) jumped in the ship. Suddenly, the ship started moving!
“AHHH! Why are we in the middle of the sea?!” screamed all the rats.
“Look, guys! Rats!” screamed all the people of the ship. So the rats bit them.
The next day, the boat reached a small island. “Finally! Dry land!” cried Rickety. Before the ship even parked, all the rats scuttled onto the land.
“Hey! This is Lord Howe Island!” gasped the rats. Suddenly, Rickety noticed some insects on the island. “Yum! Lord Howe Stick Insects, let’s go eat them!”
Then, a stick insect noticed Rickety chasing him. So the stick insect screamed for help and another stick insect named Sticky rushed to help.
“Everyone! Get a bird and fly to Ball’s Pyramid!” Sticky yelled to the other stick insects. The stick insects listened to Sticky and in 10 minutes all the stick insects were at Ball’s Pyramid.
